The Institute for Integrated Aesthetics (IIA) was founded in 2009 by J. David Holcomb, MD who also serves as the Executive Medical Director. IIA is dedicated to advancement of scientific knowledge that facilitates optimizing outcomes in facial rejuvenation. This endeavor aims to help identify procedures and treatments that provide meaningful results and/or enhance facial aesthetic outcomes.

We know that the aging process affects the face on multiple levels and common experience tells us that obtaining effective, natural-looking facial rejuvenation outcomes often requires a multifaceted approach.

Contemporary facial rejuvenation trends have included combining lifting and traditional resurfacing procedures, hairline and endoscopic approaches to upper facial rejuvenation as well as widespread use of injectable fillers and other techniques to restore facial volume. 
Current areas of interest and focus for IIA include novel approaches to facial rejuvenation including:  next generation Nd-YAG lipolysis laser-assisted contouring of the face, neck and eyelids; next generation Nd-YAG lipolysis laser-assisted rhytidectomy; and microfractional laser skin resurfacing (erbium glass, erbium-YAG, CO2).
